After wondering if a young women sunbathing in the park was wearing the prudent amount of sunscreen, journalist Mary Schmich realised she’d reached an age when she like to give advice. So she did. The resulting article for the Chicago Tribune became one of the first viral emails and was even recorded by director Baz Luhrmann as ‘The Sunscreen Song’ in 1999.
Presented here on one page for the first time the full text of this whimiscal but wise work is an inspirational and uplifting piece that will lift the mood of any room.
