Handmade from sustainable Mango Wood.  The natural grain of the wood and smooth finish makes them incredible tactile and lovely to use.

Mango trees are initially grown for their fruits but once the trees reach a certain size, age they stop bearing fruit.  It is at this stage that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products.Removal of the trees makes space for farmers to plant new trees which means that none of the wood is wasted and offers a supplmentary income to the farmers.

To care for Mango Wood, wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately.  To nourish and protect the natural wood, rub an edible oil, such as olive or walnut into the surface with a cloth.
