These attractive Salad Servers have been hand carved from Mango Wood.  The finish is smooth and the natural grain of the wood really shines through.

Mango trees are initially grown for their fruits but once the trees reach a certain age and size they stop bearing fruit.  It is at this stage that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products.Removal of the trees makes spce for farmers to plant new trees which means that none of the wood is wasted and offers a supplemntary income to the farmers.
